Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
In-Shrink Atlantic deep groove, flat edge MONO vinyl LP 1329 - released 1960
EX vinyl appears like new with original shine and gloss. Has a few minor, superficial sleeve marks. May have been played once or twice prior. Play test on NAD C555 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge revealed rich, clean analogue sound. Side 2, track 2 displayed some light surface and repetitive clicks and pops for about 40 seconds of the track. I detected two pops on side 2, track 3; otherwise the sound is pretty much pristine throughout. Beautiful (EX) in-shrink laminated cover has small cutout hole lower right corner. Light shelf wear.
