Description

RARE Billy Joel "Piano Man" Original 1973 Test Pressing From Columbia Records

Comes with Personalized Typed Note from Pat Siciliano to "E", who was an independant Manager and Publicist workng in Los Angeles at the time. The Note was taped to the front of the plain white cardboard sleeve. The Press Kit mentioned in the note is long gone, what you see is what you get! 

Handwritten Matrix / Runout Etched Numbers are: PAL 32544-2B and PBL 32544-2A
Also both Runouts have a circle with two lines that looks kinda like the Columbia logo but I don't know for sure.

Please look at the pics for condition.
The letter is faded and has a couple small stains, some creases and un-attatched where the tape failed on the bottom but the top tape is still holding. The Sleeve has yellowed in spots from age, there's bumped corners, shelf wear and some marks and stains.

Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded VG/VG+ Surface appears clean and shiny with a couple visible light scuffs and a few Spindle Marks - I grade conservatively using the Goldmine standards. Record will ship in a Professional LP Mailer.
