Description
BILLY BAUER's RHYTHM SECTION's (on Label) "Let's Have A Session" released on AD LIB RECORDS (LP 5501) in 1955 is a 10" EP/LP 1st Pressing with "Long Playing Microgroove" on the very nice labels (Scan 3). It is the first release by the obscure guitarist and a very rare Jazz album in this condition. See back cover (Scan 2) for album info.
The RECORD is in NEAR MINT PLUS condition and appears to have been played once with one visible spindle mark on one label and other than 2 or 3 extremely light sleeve marks on Side 2, not a scratch or mark on the super clean, thick vinyl. It has been kept in a paper inner sleeve which has kept it in such pristine condition. SINCE LISTING THE EP, I HAVE TEST PLAYED IT - WITH JUST THE SLIGHTEST SURFACE NOISE ON SIDE 1 (PROBABLY PLAYED ONCE) AND ALMOST NO SURFACE NOISE ON SIDE 2 (PROBABLY UNPLAYED).
The COVER is in strong VERY GOOD PLUS condition, with all seams fully intact, corners generally sharp with just the lightest of wear, and just very light wear on the front and back, with the worst wear being some light ringwear on the blue front on the bottom - not seen in scan - and the light scratch seen in the front scan (otherwise would get NM). It has been kept in a plastic outer sleeve for many years since being acquired .
