We use a grading system similar to that of the Goldmine grading system. Every record is played to ensure proper grading. Every record comes to you in some sort of sleeve (picture, company, or plain white).
(NM) - Record doesn't show signs of wear. It should play perfect, without any background noise.
(VG++) - Record should play near perfectly. Shows a few signs of cosmetic wear.
(VG+) - A fine record. More signs of cosmetic wear. Might play with very light background noise, mostly at the start and/or finish.
(VG) - Expect background noise, but for the most part the music drowns it out. Still a good listening experience. Label might have writing/stickers/ringwear but should still be readable. Great bargain buy.
(VG-) - Record still has a strong sound, but the music doesn't always drown out any background noise, popping, etc. Label might be somewhat messy from pen marks/stickers/etc. but it's still readable. Very cheap buy!
*Insurance, priority shipping, and delivery confirmation are optional. Before you pay, you HAVE to let me know you want either so I can update your invoice with the correct $$ due.
**For those in the U.S. - Sometimes with a lot of records, the shipping/handling comes out more than it costs me to send out. So if you win 6+ records, you may wait for an invoice from me for a different rate. I have no problem sending records via media mail to save you $$$. Unfortunately this is not the case for sending overseas.
***I welcome additional questions!!
Don't forget to browse my other auctions! I accept payments via Paypal only. I might consider accepting checks from buyers with great feedback. You have to give me ample time to allow the check to clear before I send your purchase out. Payments must be made within 7 days. I do combine shipping. Returns are allowed, buyer pays shipping on returns, unless the fault is mine. I will usually ship within 3 days of receiving payment.
