RECORD

1st rare 1953 US 10" mono pressing with Deep Groove on both labels

Some spindle signs around the hole

Flat edge

Matrix / runout (Side A)  :  KLP 123 engraved by hand

Matrix / runout (Side B) :  KLP 124 engraved by hand

Visual grade

Side A: EXCELLENT

The playing surface of this thick, shining, heavy, flat 10" vinyl looks carefully played and shows some light, thin sleeve hairlines / scuffs, nothing deep. NO other signs of wear of handling. With NO marks, NO scratches, NO groove wear

Side B: EXCELLENT+

Excepting just a couple of extremely light, thin, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp sleeve hairlines, the playing surface looks free of any other signs of handling. With NO scuffs, marks, NO scratches

Audio grade

Side A

1st track: VERY GOOD+

Excepting five tics softly feelable, caused  by the flaw noted above during my visual inspection, plays very well with NO other noticeable blemishes. NO clicks, NO skips, NO surface or background noise

2nd / 3rd / 4th tracks: EXCELLENT++ / NEAR MINT-

Play well with just rare episodes of light background rustlin', softly feelable in some quieter passages, below the music level. With NO tics, NO clicks, NO skips

Side B

1st / 2nd tracks: VERY GOOD+

Graded as such because of few, occasional tics, almost caused by microscopic pin-pointed wax defects. Otherwise play well with NO other noticeable blemishes.

3rd / 4th tracks: EXCELLENT+ + / NEAR MINT-

Play well with just rarest, absolutely insignificant, episodes of extremely light background rustlin', barely feelable below the music level. NO other blemishes ! With NO tics, NO clicks, NO skips

Cleaned with CLEAR AUDIO VACUUM MATRIX using its PURE GROOVE professional solution

COVER :  GOOD

1st original thick, cardboard jacket graded as such because of:

aging yellowing all along the partially splitted top seam repaired with clear tape (front and back)

aging yellowing all along the slightly worn taped bottom seam (front and back)

aging yellowing along the lightly worn taped (2") spine (front and back)

one minuscule, hardly noticeable "ink" writing and a minor amount of shelf wear on front

four, extremely thin, hardly noticeable circled "ink" writings on the back side, not affecting the integrity of the graphics
