BILL FAY- SELF TITLED DEBUT- DERAM NOVA
Original UK VINYL LP. Released on the DERAM NOVA label. ONE OF THE HARDEST LP'S TO FIND.
THIS RECORD IS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BY COLLECTORS.IT ALMOST NEVER COMES UP FOR SALE.WHAT MAKES THIS EVEN MORE OF A RARITY IS THAT IT IS THE MONO PRESSING AND IS IN A TRULY BEAUTIFULL STATE.
Playback is VERY important and I can say that the record plays without skip or jump.In fact it plays superbly well.
Matrix Numbers:- 1A and 2A (PLEASE NOTE-THIS DENOTES A VERY FIRST UK PRESSING ON THE MONO DERAM LABEL).

Sleeve- Printed and Made by Senol Printing Limited,England.Laminated to the front.Some minor corner and edge wear.Some general age marks to rear from storage.A very small pen squiggle to rear that I think is a name.Overall for its age-in a very respectable and clean condition.A lovely sleeve.
Inners-Comes with the original MONO polylined inner.
Labels- The labels are clean showing very little use.
Vinyl- Still retains a nice shine and deep gloss to both sides.IN FACT THE VINYL LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE NEW.Under light it is hard to see a mark.Possibility of in/out sleeve feathers but THIS IS BEAUTIFUL VINYL.
Playback- I am delighted to say it plays without skip or jump !!!!! Side One has some ticks and crackle at the start-following which it plays with a beautiful sound.Side two I noticed two or three minor ticks.As this is a quiet lp, playback is very important indeed and I can report that the majority plays with a stunning clarity
A very old and rare lp.A record that MUST be in your collection.The chances of finding one like this again are very slim-It is a record to be treasured.
