Visually graded condition of disc: Near Mint minus (unplayed).
The minus in the grading is for a faint super light small mark on cut 1, probably was from the opening of the inner sleeve - will not be audible. A small hairline mark further in, but that's it. Record is scratch free and should play like new.
Two titles on the label have 'dots' next to them, possibly signifying suggested cuts because it's a promo. The first Big Star LP had small fingers pointing to two cuts, this one has dots. Each label is shown in the photos.
 

Condition of sleeve: Shows some wear because it's white. Light rings on both sides. Slight discoloration on bottom edge, very faint. Also on backside just left of the photo - again very light and not sure what it is. Bottom corners are lightly dinged.
On frontside there are some small scratches just around the lightbulb, from 40 years of storage.
Faint "promotional record - not for sale" stamped on back side at top right.

MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)

NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
M-/NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
