Description

MY GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. If there is a problem I will always allow you to return the item for a full refund.
ALL RECORDS ARE PLAY GRADED AND ARE GIVEN A TRUE AND ACCURATE GRADING
I use a VPI record cleaning machine in tandem with an ultrasonic tank to thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.

SHIPPING:

USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media each LP after that is 1.00 extra.

International Shipping will be at the rate of Priority International service, no other service will be used

Canada ~ 1 LP = 25.00

Overseas ~ 1 LP will be between 32.00 to 40.00 depending on location, this is an estimate

ARDENT ADS 2803

#1 Record is the debut album by the American power pop group Big Star. It was released in 1972 by Memphis-based Ardent Records. Though many critics praised the album's elegant vocal harmonies and refined songcraft (frequently drawing comparisons to the British Invasion groups of the 1960s, including The Beatles, The Kinks and The Who), #1 Record suffered from poor distribution and sold fewer than 10,000 copies. However, like Big Star's follow-up albums Radio City and Third/Sister Lovers, #1 Record has more recently attracted wider attention, and in 2003 it was ranked number 438 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Rolling Stone magazine also ranked the song "Thirteen" as number 396 on its 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

CONDITION

COVER: VG+ Some cracking on the top and a corner but overall a nice clean cover VINYL: EX Very clean and glossy vinyl and owuld be M- but there are 3 spots where you can hear 2-3 low freq thumps caused by cheap 70's vinyl, not distracting but it needs ot be pointed out   GRADING SCALE: M, M-, EX, VG++,VG+, VG, VG-
M Completely clean, no marks
M- Carefully used, looks clean, plays clean, shiny gloss, no marks
EX Faint scuff or superficial mark, near M-, high gloss, plays clean
VG++ Glossy with minimal scuffing or light mark playing very nice, clean
VG+ a bit more scuff or markls still plays well with very minimal surface at worse
VG more marks/scratches only minor, nothing deep, no loud clicks or pops
this grade is abused by many, VG here does not mean "trashed"
VG- surface noise present, will not have skips or jumps
