Description

BIg Black *LUNGS* original 12" on Ruthless Records, 1982. Includes signed letter from Steve Albini! Record is unplayed but has some light surface marks from long term storage. Covers also have a few wrinkles/dents. No seams splits. Very rare item. My guess is there is about 25-50 copies of these w/the signed letter.


So the story here(from what I know) is that back in 2018, some copies of the original Issue of Lungs 12" were sold through Touch & Go mail order. These copies were found in Steve Albini's basement storage. The original inserts were missing so T&G included reprints of the LUNGS insert and also a hand signed(sarcastic) letter of authenticity from Steve Albini confirming they are legitimate first issues of the LUNGS ep release.
Vinyl is unplayed but has some slight surface marks from paper sleeve.. Cover is VG+ with storage wear from probably close to 38 years of apparently sitting in a box! Will grade vinyl at  EX. Might be close to M-.
