Description
Up for auction is a rare original copy of the self-titled album "Betty Davis" originally released in the U.S. on Just Sunshine Records (JSS-5) in 1973.

Condition:
The cover is still in nice condition with light signs of wear. Front and back are nice, generally clean, no significant ring wear, just a hint of rub. Seams are strong, intact, no splits. Corners have some rubbing loss (see photos). Some light creasing here and there. Factory punch hole in lower left corner. Edges have some rubbing. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+), a well-preserved cover, nicer than many.
The vinyl is also in nice condition, still has much of its original shine. Both sides have light, superficial hairlines, nothing deep or serious. Has a couple light needle marks which do not affect the quality of the playback. Also has a slight storage warp that does not affect the playback.
Play-Tested: This record has very nice sound quality, no significant distractions or distortions of the sound quality. Perhaps some faint surface/background noise on the run-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, you don't notice anything. Plays clean for a vintage pressing, not audiophile clean, of course, but this is a well preserved copy. From my personal collection, it's been archived for the last 20 years. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
