ITEM:    " The Best of Christian Grit - 12 Artists / 24 Songs ", by various artists, including Gary S Paxton, Austin Roberts, Sammy Hall, and nine others.  Two record set released in 1977 by Newpax Records, catalog number NP-33015 STEREO.

COMMENTS / CONDITION:   This LP came from a private collection, it is not an ex-library item, or a scratched up LP bought at a yard sale. It came from a private collection. The record was visually graded, and was spot checked  test played. Please see the attached pictures for the Track Listings.

Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.  

Vinyl is in strong VG+ or better Condition, retaining much of the original gloss. Under a close inspection, a few wispy scuffs/hairlines are visible, which are cosmetic and do not affect the listening enjoyment.  There are no warps, cracks, groove wear, or deep scratches. I did not test play the entire LP. On my older system, all short segments that were spot checked played with no skips or groove lock. Audio quality was very good with no annoying surface noise.   

NOTE: Sound quality will vary from system to system. The above comments are included strictly as reference, and are not a statement as to the experience you may have with your equipment.

Labels are in very good condition with no peeling edges, rips, or writing. Center holes remain perfectly round with no signs of repeated playing.

The gate-fold cover is in strong VG to VG+  condition, with partial half seam splits at both top seams, starting at the opening edges. I have not tried to repair the seam splits - I leave that to the discretion of the new owner. The other seams are all strong with no splits. Spine is firm and straight and easily readable. Light shelf and edge wear, and minor ring/rub are present. Colors are crisp and clear with no fading. This is NOT a cut-out; there are NO punch holes, notches, or clipped corners.

The original 6 page tri-fold booklet is in very good condition, with no rips, tears, creased corners, or writing. Light scuffs from handling and very light age yellowing (front and back pages) can be seen.

Inner sleeves are plain white paper.

When I listed this, there was only one other copy on Ebay, listed at $150.00, still sealed in shrink wrap. I have listed this LP at a VERY LOW starting bid, with NO RESERVE.

I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use to care for their records.
