This is without question one of the finest sounding jazz albums ever produced.
It is a Miller & Kreisel Sound production (the subwoofer manufacturer) of Earl “Fatha” Hines on piano, Red Callender on bass, and Bill Douglass on drums, all recorded direct-to-disc and cut in Germany at 45RPM.
So, expect stellar sound, as the trio delivers BIRDLAND, BLUE MONK, HUMORESQUE, SOPHISTICATED LADY, MISTY, OLD FASHIONED LOVE and THE PREACHER, among others.
An awesome record, worthy of the finest vinyl library, here in a cover without major fault (has a small piece of tape on the spine), while inside is the original German pressing in near-mint shape.
A "must have" for any serious audiophile interested in hearing the very best from a hi-fi music reproduction system.
