Description

Incredible rare original 1975 private Dutch jazz compilation LP: "6 september 5 jaar jazz in Venlo". See scan.

This is a great compilation celebrating 5 years of jazz in a jazz club in the Dutch town of Venlo. This compilation covers the period of 1970 till 1975. It says Venlose Jazz Club Life on the cover but I suspect they mean “Live”.  

The record should come with an inlay stating the performing bands but not the songs that are being played. This inlay is not included with this copy.

Side 1: Valuas City Jazzband, Hot Club De Rotterdam, Misja Mengelberg / Han Bennink, Ben Webster / Tete Montoliu / Pierre Courbois / Wim Essed, Rein De Graaff / Dik Vennik Quartet feat. Red Rodney, Trio Louis van Dijk feat. John Engels and Jacques Schols.
