Description

Up for sale is a great clean copy of Bennie Green (with Art Farmer) on Prestige PRLP 7041. The dead wax says PRLP 7041 A and RVG.

I play graded the record before listing it for obvious reasons (the record is from 1956 after all). After listening carefully, Side 1 and the first track of Side 2 play NM-. The last song on Side 2 (Gone With The Wind) has some passages that play VG++ while much of the song plays NM-. The lead out (final 10 seconds or so) of the last song on each side has some light crackle right as it gets to the dead wax (just being up front; that happens on lots of records etc). Visually, the record has great gloss for a record from 1956, and has really only surface scratches. No deep scratches. Visually I would grade it VG++ or EX-.

The sleeve is graded VG because of shelf wear and some writing in the lower right hand corner of the front cover (a little kid tried to write Name). It could possibly be fixed as the background is simply yellow, nothing complex. Overall, the sleeve is fully intact. No rips or torn seems whatsoever. The top of sleeve has a very slight ding that is only really visible super up close. The back cover has no major blemishes. The front has some shelf wear and the writing pictured.

The record currently resides in and will ship in a Mofi archival sleeve.

Hit me up with any questions. I’m only parting with the record because I honestly need the income. Thanks for looking, and have a good one. - the funk squad
