Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Mambo at Midnight" - by Belmonte and His Afro-American Music on the Columbia "Red Label" Records label (CL 598), in beautiful original monaural sound, original issue circa 1956.
CONDITION: JACKET - Excellent(Jacket has light overall wear, 2" splits top and bottom seams, a stamped mark and original price tag on top left back cover - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - VG+(Columbia vinyl has many light scuff marks - visually graded using daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Space Age Dance Legendary record, a treasure in any condition. This is the original red-label Columbia pressing, featuring the original plastic inner sleeve as well.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
