BEHIND THE FRIDGE PETER COOK & DUDLEY MOORE LP PLUS PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION: This out of print and scarce LIVE LP is from a recording made in Melbourne AUSTRALIA at the Palais Theatre in October 1971. This is an original pressing on the Atlantic label. Behind the Fridge is a take on one of their previous shows, Beyond the Fringe. This stage show was first performed in Australia prior to any other performances in England and the U.S. It ran here before opening in London in 1972. The show then went to the U.S under the title Good Evening, running on Broadway and subsequently touring. This has 6 tracks and runs for a generous 58 minutes. A few of these sketches run for more than 15 minutes so Pete and Dud have time to stretch their comedic legs. The program for this show is 16 pages and measures 9 1/2 inches by 12inches. It has 2 pages dedicated to a short bio on both artists, an article on the making of "the fridge" and many black and white photos. It also has a list of the sketches that were included in the show. Occasionally this Lp or program appear separately but rarely together.
CONDITION:Record cover Vg+, the front is clean but has 2 places where there are indentations on the cardboard and a slight stain on bottom right hand side, there is also a tiny bit of wear on the picture. The rear of the cover has a slight stain in bottom left hand corner and a little rubbing at the top which is slightly affecting the print but is not obtrusive. Along the spine and near opening of cover is a little brown due to age. The disc is in near mint condition with no marks visible, the labels are clean and have almost no spindle marks indicating very little play. The program is in very good condition with a a tiny bit of wear on the spine. The back and front are very clean. Inside, the pages show a little evidence of handling and the edges of the pages show a little browning due to age. Overall it is in very good shape.
GRADING: Please note I grade visually in accordance with the Goldmine standard. Excellent represents the grade Vg++.

Item is shipped in strong custom made packaging. However we have no control over how the postal system handles articles once they are despatched. Therefore If you wish, insurance is available for an extra £3 Sterling charge.
