Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --BEGGARS OPERA--PATHFINDER--UK ORIGINAL  PRESSING. 1972, stereo 6360 073 The 70th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....FOLD-OUT POSTER and UN-LAMINATED.  Another sleeve often pinned, selotaped or blutacked to a wall, that turns up very tatty, NOT THIS ONE. The colours are very strong and vibrant and there is very little creasing. The edges are EX with very light shelf wear, the bottom of the 'spine' has worn through the surface about 3 cm long but it is a light coloured part of the artwork and is not that easy to notice. The front is in great condition  with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS and NO STICKERS, there is some light surface rub causing some very light ring wear(not through the surface) . The rear  is in very similar condition, all the other panels are in N/MINT condition.There are NO TEARS OR SPLITS. There is light wear to the very tips of the corners. This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE IN TOP CONDITION. All in all this is in superb condition for a 36year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve.EX+

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears.  There are NO spindle marks oeither side, this album has obviously always been handled with great care, probably played only 2 or 3 times. MINT/MINT

VINYL....THIS ALBUM LOOKS BRAND NEW!!! Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see NO surface hair lines or any other surface marks, BRILLIANT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are ALMOST NO dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . MINT/MINT. TOP AS NEW CONDITION VINYL.
