Following a few years when i have clearing out my 'also-ran' LPs, I've now decided that some of those that I intended to keep have got to go. I just have too many and space is at a premium. Perhaps you know what I mean??? This is a MOST COLLECTABLE album on a hard to find label. There are some German pressings of it around but not many of these FIRST pressings on the Swirl Label. This is a decent copy - not perfect, but a very worthy addition to any Prog Rock collectors cupboard.
Title BEGGARS OPERA - Waters of Change LP
Label VERTIGO (Swirl Label) No 6360 054
Matrix 1 / 2 Believed to be A FIRST PRESSING
CONDITION - VISUALLY - Nice sheen - very nice looking LP
The 'A' side looks EXCELLENT + with VERY minimal small surface marks.
The 'B' side looks almost as good (so rated as VERY GOOD) with THREE more noticable small surface marks.
But there are NO HEAVY SCRATCHES etc. on either side.
The LABELS are NEAR MINT, with just some light spindle marks on the non-swirl side to suggest it has been played afew times.
AUDIO!
I test-played both sides before listing.
ON THE 'A' SIDE there is 'static' noise on the run-in which then becomes much lighter as the first track develops.
ON THE 'B' SIDE - there is 'static' noise on the run-ins which continues behind the music until after the first track.
The surface noise then becomes much lighter. There are a couple of 'pops' caused by three small surface marks but there are no hesitations or jumps, etc. I would grade the audio as VERY GOOD
The SLEEVE
A Very Good NON-LAMINATED sleeve which is complete, with light creasing and also some light edge and corner wear. But no splits, no tears, no writing etc. Small surface indentations on both sides are superficial and should not be regarded as damage but wear arising from a 40 year life cycle. There is some light discolouration on the outers but NO RIPS, NO SIDE SPLITS etc.
In summary, a most collectable LP ON THE first pressing VERTIGO SWIRL label.
See my feedback for confidence that I sell in the correct manner. I charge a small postage fee because I send by FIRST CLASS POST it costs me money to use the Post Office. I do not penalise buyers by charging over inflated P&P charges though.
I GUARANTEE all my sales with a FULL REFUND if there has been any error on my behalf with my discription or listing details. (I am very careful though).
Payment by PayPal please (or cash on collection in person). (Please let me know prior to the listing ending that you intend to pay by cash - thanks)
Please DO NOT BID if you have no positive feedback.
