HERE'S SOMETHING YOU DONT SEE EVERY DAY...AN ORIGINAL 1967 VINYL COPY OF THE CLASSIC SOUNDTRACK FROM THE FILM 'BEDAZZLED'. MUSIC WRITTEN AND PERFORMED ENTIRELY BY THE DUDLEY MOORE TRIO-PETE MCGURK (BASS), CHRIS KARAN (DRUMS)..SCORE BABY WROTE:

"This is without a doubt, one of the finest pop movie scores of the 60's - right up there with Barbarella, though distinctly different from that psych pop classic.The orchestration is rich but not bloated, and the themes are memorable. Tracks like 'bedazzled' (which was later covered by the archly ironic studio group 'Bongwater') and The millionaire (which was sampled by DJ Food) are alone worth having. Actor Peter Cook's ultra droll delivery on the former is deliriously funny. And the swank mood of the latter is lounge perfection. Fact is ther score is loaded with elegant groovy material. Moore plays piano throughout and he's supported by a crack rhythm section, horns and strings (but in small doses). If your buying one complete soundtrack reissue this year, keep this one in mind."
