Here is a beautiful condition DGC Records in house gold award presented to an industry executive (nobody famous/the name is blanked out for the scan only) for the BECK album MUTATIONS (My favorite Beck album.) Having worked in the record business for a long time, and being a memorabilia dealer, I know collectors often prefer RIAA awards, but I can tell you people at record companies never think about whether something is in-house or RIAA. And some records like this exist only as in-house awards. I am a longtime music business executive and get all awards from people in the business who I know personally. This means they are all absolutely genuine, and guaranteed authentic for life by me. Be wary when buying awards from people who don't offer a lifetime guarantee. There are many fakes on ebay, particularly the ones supposedly presented to artists.
