Mike Judge debuted his animated cartoon about a couple of twisted slackers, titled 'Beavis and Butt-Head', THIRTY years ago, in 1992. It first appeared, as a short film, on an episode of MTV's 'Liquid Sky'. The pilot became a series, and in 1996, a full length movie was released. The soundtrack to that hilarious flick features such hard rock and heavy metals legends as AC/DC, White Zombie, Ozzy Osbourne, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others. (There's even tracks by LL Cool J, Rancid, No Doubt, Butthole Surfers, and Engelbert Humperdinck!)
There are plans to bring Beavis and Butt-Head back, again, on the Paramount + network, so fans can now rejoice! Lol What can you say, B&B were part of the 90s culture, and today's generation seems to be discovering what some of their parents enjoyed, all those years ago...
In today's rocking good deal, we have a copy of that amazing soundtrack, and on a special, limited edition picture disc LP! This is way cool, as it's artwork from the movie on both sides. Bought new, and never played. This was never sealed, but rest assured, I never put a stylus on this thing! (I never play specialty vinyl, such as pic discs or colored records.) In almost perfect condition. Mint minus, as it's not sealed. In original PVC jacket, with hype sticker. Reissued in 2016 to celebrate the TWENTIETH anniversary of the movie's release. I could only find one other copy, here on Ebay, for sale at nearly $200 plus shipping! None of that silly price gouging here!!
For fans of Beavis and Butt-Head, 90s animation, hard rock, heavy metal, hip hop, and alternative pop bands. Also for collectors of picture discs and soundtracks. Or add to that always growing collection of awesome vinyl records, because you know you're worth it!
