I will only be listing ONE or TWO quality records at a time.
All Photographs are of the actual items being offered.
My grading,s are strictly in line with the Record Collector Magazine,s Grading  Guide
Both the Sleeve & Disc/s are carefully inspected under my DOUBLE HALOGEN LAMP

Offered for sale here is a superb example of the With The Beatles First Press Mono.

The two Label errors, Jobete Credit for Money and the incorrect  ‘ GOTTA ‘ wording.
Rare original Poly-Lined Emitex Inner with the ‘ Patents Applied For ‘ wording in the  Bottom left hand corner.
Plus the very rare original Parlophone Promotional Flyer from late  1963.

THE BEATLES.
WITH THE BEATLES MONO FIRST PRESS.
Catalogue No,   PMC 1206.
Matrix Nos;       XEX  - 447 – 1 N,             448 – 1 N.
Mothers / Stampers;     2 / HL,                     4 / MG.
MT Tax Code to the centre of Side Two.   ‘Parlophone Co Ltd …..’ Label rim Text.

CONDITION;
DISC;    LABELS,
Both labels are in superb condition, all the silver and yellow lettering remains in as new crisp and clean condition with no detectable rubbing or fading, they are completely free of any writing or stickers with a superb black background to both labels. Side two carries the label errors ‘ GOTTA ‘ to track three and Jobete credit for Money on Track seven.  MT Tax Code to the centre of side two. Under my double halogen lamp there are just the faintest of spindle trails. Virtually NO spindle hole wear whatsoever, inside the spindle hole still retains its original black colour.

DISC;   VINYL,
In normal daylight this very thick slab of vinyl on both sides shows both surfaces to be absolutely stunning,  they have retained their beautiful deep black gloss sheen. Again under double halogen they show just a very few of the faintest tiny wispy hairlines which are consistent with the removal of the disc from it’s  lined storage sleeve and they are consistent with this barely played disc.

The disc lies perfectly flat with no warping or dishing.
DISC WEIGHT;        169 GRAMS.

AUDIO;
The Audio on both sides of this disc is quite remarkable.  During one very careful play of both sides of the disc  I could detect NO BACKGROUND OR SURFACE INTERFERANCE WHATSOEVER. ALL the run ins and out and between all tracks WERE TOTALLY SILENT. Even on the quieter track ‘ TILL THERE WAS YOU ‘ The Audio was perfect. Throughout the total play I could not detect even the faintest pop or click. This simply has to be the best Audio achievable on a first press of this album. Quite remarkable for virtually 50 years old.
GRADE AS;            * NEAR MINT * ALL ROUND.
Note;   I will never use the  grade MINT  unless a record is still factory sealed but I have             to say that in this case it would be totally justified.

INNER;
This the original Emitex inner sleeve is again in superb condition, it is the early  poly – lined inner  and carries the wording ‘ PATENTS APPLIED FOR ‘ to the  bottom left hand  corner. It shows NO  rips, tears, writing or seam splits whatsoever, the die – cut circles are in superb condition as is the wavy top open edge, it is in lovely clean condition and  shows just a little inevitable disc line creasing.
GRADED AS;            * MINT - *

SLEEVE;
Note;  This is the very rare original blacked out shadow sleeve which was very quickly              Withdrawn because the shadow on the faces of all four of the boy’s was jet black             So much so that half of their faces were completely blacked out, and was replaced             With standard lighter shadow sleeve which became the norm.
FRONT;    The front of this the rarest of all the With The Beatles Mono Sleeves is in lovely clean condition, there are none of the usual large laminate spiders on the portraits, There are just a couple of very small ones but not on the portraits, The bottom and spine edge show just some very small thumbnails and when held at an angle into strong daylight there is a trace of disc rim imprint but certainly not excessive.
The spine is in superb condition. It is very firm and solid with all the lettering crisp and unworn.
All four corners show some very light rubbing ( A little heavier to the bottom corners ).
The Top and Bottom seams show no splits or excessive rubbing wear and the front open edge is still nice and crisp.
BACK;    The Tri – Fold Flipbacks are in excellent and very clean condition, with just a very Few clean thumbnails, All the printing is excellent and clear and shows no wear , There are three small foxing spots and a little light rubbing and age toning to the open edge.  There is no sign of disc rim imprint wear.
Note; As collectors will know because of the low and rough grade of cardboard used  on the Back of these sleeves they were very prone to heavy age toning etc,
GRADED AS;            OVERALL  EXCELLENT.

PARLOPHONE  PROMO  FLYER;
This rare Parlophone Flyer has now become a collectors item in it’s own right. It was issued  to record stores in late 1963 to promote various Parlophone Albums and was given away free with Parlophone Album purchases.. It shows just some very light age toning and a few light creases and just one tiny nick to the front left edge  but is still in remarkable condition for very nearly 50 years old.
GRADED AS;         EXCELLENT .

I have tried to describe each component of this very sought after first press copy in detail, Should youhave any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my Best to answer them.
In my opinion this Album is an excellent investment that can only continue to appreciate In value.
