Description

ARTIST: THE BEATLES

TITLE: THE BEATLES aka 'The White Album'

LABEL: APPLE PCS 7068

Superb UK stereo copy of this iconic 60's LP. This is the original issue in the numbered top opening gatefold sleeeve. The number on the front is 0453906. This is a first press copy with matrix numbers YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 and YEX 712-1. The stampers are Side 1: 5,GPD, Side 2: 2,GTA, Side 3: 5,RAH and Side 4: 4,RDM. This is a fantastic copy which you will find hard to beat. Overall I grade this copy near MINT. This is why:-

The vinyl (all 4 sides) is near MINT with NO MARKS visible even under bright angled light. These LPs have been cherished by one owner from new and are quite simply superb. The AURAL QUALITY is equally awesome with absolutely MINT original sound. I cannot fault the listening experience.

The deep green Apple labels are MINT. LP two has 'An EMI Recording' in brackets which I do not recall seeing before. Record one has this without brackets. Both LP labels ahve 'Mfd in the UK' text.

The cover is superb - still white with only a hint of tarnishing, no creasing, no edge wear, sharp opening edges, and grades Excellent/near mint.

The 4 photogrphs are MINT and the poster is MINT.

Unfortunately there is only one of the original black diecast inner sleeves which is near EXCELLENT.

A GREAT COPY OF A CLASSIC LP WHICH WILL NOT DISAPPOINT

The item will be carefully packed in a custom box with multiple stiffeners.
