I have just taken this item down and am now re-listing it because of the number of people who have sent me e mails advising that I mistakenly spelled PARLOPHONE wrong.I would like to thank all those who took the trouble.Therefore,here we go again.This is an original 1963 mono first pressing of THE BEATLES BLACK AND GOLD "PLEASE PLEASE ME "ALBUM on PARLOPHONE PMC 1202.it seems like only yesterday that I used to go and watch them playing at THE CAVERN CLUB on saturday nights,but in retrospect,it is such a long time ago.I had more than one conversation with John Lennon who was always considerate and approachable.Anyway,I digress.Visually,the vinyl only looks VG but it plays excellent with just a touch of surface noise on the run in to the tracks.The front of the sleeve is VG but the back is less attractive as the flipbacks have had sellotape put on them.Shame really,as a bit of glue would have been much less intrusive.I thing the back is probably worth a G++ but not quite a VG -.Payment in pounds sterling please.
