As an avid Beatles fan, I have collected many items over the past years. I am not a dealer or a store. The items I have decided to sell are from my own collection. Most of my items, I have bought new. Very rarely did I purchase used, If I have, I will state it in my descriptions.
For this auction, I am selling The WESTWOOD ONE PAUL McCARTNEY radio broadcast. This STARTRAK PROFILE on Paul was broadcast in December, 1984. It is a 2-part profile, with the first part aired in the week of Dec.3, with part two ,the week of Dec. 10. This is right after McCartney released the movie "Give My Regards To Broad Street." This subject, along with writing music with Lennon, and his own future plans, is mostly the interview. Mixed in are a lot of great songs from both his solo career, and with the Beatles. It's a wonderful interview, Paul sounds so young....
This 6 LP set is in great condition. It comes in two black sleeves, with each sleeve holding three records. There is a program discription sheet, with Paul's photo; and the cue sheets (4) included. All the sheets are in great shape, no rips, or folds. The black sleeves are like regular album covers. No writing, tape, odor, stains. There are some very light ring marks, and some light scuff marks on the jackets. But not bad. There is a bend mark on one of the corners, on both jackets, again, not too bad. Each record is in a plastic sleeve. The vinyl is in great condition. Very few scuff marks, no visible scratches.The record lable reads: Westwood One Presents. 9540Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA. 90230. (213)-204-5000. STARTRAK PROFILE. For broadcast the week of December 3, 1984...and December 10, 1984. Plays and sounds great. I bought this used, and have not played it more than three times, one being a few weeks ago, just to check it out. All in all, it's in great shape for being over 25 years old.
This album, along with my entire collection was never stored in the basement, attic, or garage. Each item I have, has been and still are covered in an outer plastic sleeve.
