The Holy Grail of Beatles Collecting
Up for auction is a genuine, 100% authentic Second State Stereo "Butcher Cover" of Yesterday and Today (Capitol ST 2553). This is the "paste-over" version where Capitol Records glued the "Trunk" cover slick directly over the controversial original "Butcher" photo.

Stereo Pressing: Significantly rarer than the common Mono copies.

The "V" Peel: The "V" from Ringo’s smock is clearly visible through the white background to the right of the trunk, confirming its 2nd State status.
