Description
Up for auction is my copy of The Beatles Yesterday And Today. It is a Second State Stereo version of the infamous Butcher Cover. The sleeve is in overall VG+ condition except for two splits along the bottom seam (see photos). There is slight discoloring on the back sleeve but no staining. The sleeve shows minimal ring wear. Inner sleeve is original and in great condition. The album plays strong and hot with minimal surface noise. I never believed in the whole 'hot stamper' myth until I compared this record to my other non-Butcher Y&T records. There is a nice enhanced clarity and presence to this pressing in comparison esp with regards to the percussion and bass presence. Record has been stored outside the sleeve and outside the original insert in a separate sleeve in a non-smoking household. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
