Description
Offered is this LP record by The Beatles entitled " YESTERDAY AND TODAY ". This is a 1966 mono record on the Capitol color band label T-2553. The only grade I can think of for this record is poor minus. Unfortunenately the previous owner of this record did not know it's rarity and after the pasteover started peeling from the effects of a flooded basement they tried to peel off the entire pasteover. The record itself still has some gloss, but it is very scuffed. I played portions of each side and it did not skip but it has much surface noise. The side one label is shot, being mostly unreadable. The side two labels is actually in good condition. The jacket is what you see. About two thirds of the pasteover is removed exposing the original butcher cover. The name Kathy is written on what is left of the pasteover. There are spots of the original cover that came off when pasteover was peeled. The back is stained. The spine and lower seam are split.entirely. The upper seam is intact. A very rare find that might have some value for someone that is waiting to find a good copy of this record. This is being sold " AS IS". Very poor condition. My return guanratee will not apply to this auction. Grading of records is done by guidelines set out in the goldmine record collectors guide. Most of my LP grading is done visually with the exception of rare records or records that have a surface flaw that may be in question. If I have played a record, the description of playback will be noted in the listing. I try to be conservative in my record grading, plus I have a no lose guarantee policy for U.S record buyers. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a record you purchased from me, I will refund the purchase price plus shipping cost both ways. For international buyers I can only guarantee purchase price plus shipping one way. In either case all I asked is that I be notified of problem within 5 days of receipt of record and that the record be return postmarked back to me within ten days of receipt. Records must be returned to me in the same condition as they were sent before a refund will be sent. I package records very carefully including removing records from unsealed jackets to prevent knifing and I will not take responsibility for uninsured shipments that are lost, stolen or damaged by postal handling. Each listing gives a flat rate shipping cost for U.S buyers. This includes the media mail postage, delivery confirmation and my cost for LP mailers and packaging materials. Delivery confirmation is not optional. Upon request I will insure or send by a faster shipping service of which the buyer will be responsible for increase cost. I will combine shipments to save buyers shipping cost. After the first LP each additional LP is 25 cents. I can only fit 5 LP's in each mailer so after the 5th LP there is and additional 75 cent charge for another LP mailer plus the 25 cents for the record. International buyers should inquire about shipping cost before bidding. I will not ship surface mail to overseas locations. I accept checks, cashier checks, money orders and paypal.. Questions are welcomed and in most cases answered promptly. Please DO NOT use total request as I will send invoices within 24 hours of end of auction. Total requests will not be answered.
