On offer here is a VERY rare EP called" YESTERDAY " Graded as a strong EX//NM .{ Sleeve graded first.] By The Beatles and is a UK 1965 1st pressing on the Black & Yellow Parlophone label CAT NO, GEP 8948.!!! THIS IS THE NEXT RAREST U.K RELEASED BEATLES EP APART FROM THE NOWHERE MAN EP AND IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS FANTASTIC CONDITION !!!! ADD TO THAT THIS IS AN ULTRA RARE STICKERED 'FACTORY SAMPLE' NOT FOR SALE, DEMO COPY,STILL WITH ITS ORIGINAL RED "FACTORY INSPECTED AND SEALED" PRINTED ROUNDED EDGE POLYTHENE CUSTOMED INNER SLEEVE/BAG, FOR 45'S. [THAT ENCLOSES ITSELF TIGHTLY AROUND THE VINYL RECORD] [SEE PICS!!!] THIS IS THE VERY 1ST PRESSING OF THIS EP WITH A HEAVY CARD LAMINATED FLIPBACK 1ST PRESS MONO COVER,[Unlike the later pressed & much more flimsy flipback sleeves] AND 1ST PRESS RECORD!!!! WHAT DENOTES A 1965 1ST UK PRESSING IS 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, A YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, AND 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A 1965 1ST PRESSING OF THE RAREST BEATLES EP!!!! The matrix numbers are 7TCE 894 -1 & 7TCE 895 -1. The mother and stamper codes are [GG,1] & [GD,3] (Very early Mothers and Stampers ), and there is also a 'KT' Tax Code on the label and a 'KT' Tax Code in the run off grooves on both sides. This is an ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label and the Cat No is GEP 8948. Any fan of 60s music will want to have this in their collection!!!! The record labels are in a Great clean condition (see pictures) with no writing & no wear, The records vinyl is in GREAT condition and retains a great shiny lustre!!!! Most of these 60s EPs are usually found totally worn out, and unplayable, due to the heavy stylus needles of the times. This records vinyl playing surfaces [ I Have graded vinyl strictly under a direct strong light!!!!] have NO scratches as such, only a few of the faintest and lightest whisps/scufflines and also a couple of the lightest possible paper scuffs ONLY visible under strong light!!!! that do not affect this record visually or aurally in any way, [Some people wouldn't bother mentioning them!!! but i wish to point them out even so.] THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!! It is great to find that the playing of this record is as good as the visual condition !! It plays BRILLIANTLY with no faults to report! This EP's Vinyl must STRICTLY grade at least a strong NM if not better with the play graded as perfect!!!! Believe me this records vinyl is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use Record collectors high grading standards. The 1st Press Flipback Laminated Sleeve is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! with no lifting of the lamination. It has no edge wear, no spinal wear, only a couple of very light crincles as opposed to creases (cover lies perfectly flat ), no splits, no rubbing, no staining, no tears, and no writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with no feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is still in a great clean condition with no yellowing, no grubbyness, no writing, no tears,and only some VERY slight discolouration to the left edge where the record enters, and a slight stain at the bottom of the rear sleeve just above the flipback edge caused by Glue residue left over from where another sticker once was, but has UNFORTUNATLY long since came unstuck and fallen off.[ This may clean off, with the right solution] [VERY PROBABLY THIS WOULD HAVE ALSO BEEN WHERE ANOTHER "FACTORYSAMPLE STICKER" WAS ALSO STUCK ORIGINALLY, TO COINCIDE WITH THE RECORD AND INNER SLEEVE DETAILS ] The sleeve must grade as a very strong EX/EX if not better!!!! [But i don't want to overgrade] DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE EP!!!! THIS IS THE RAREST BEATLES FACTORY SAMPLE [ NOT FOR SALE.] DEMO EP & INNER AND IS VERY VERY HARD TO FIND INDEED!!!!
