Hi there
I have for auction a 1981 UK pressing of Yellow Submarine, but with a difference. This Stereo LP has a Mono label for side 2! The matrix numbers and label numbers are
Side one Stereo PCS 7070 (YEX.715) YEX 715-7 Side two Mono PMC 7070 (XEX.716) YEX 716-2
A very rare find indeed. Could have been a mix up with the labels while pressing the records from the stereo to mono pressings, This is around the time that the mono and stereo box sets were made, so this mono label could have been intended for use for one of the box sets.
The vinyl is near mint to mint on both sides, can't really fault the record at all. The labels are clean, no spindle wear what so ever. This record has had very little play. The cover is in excellent condition, a couple of creases in 2 corners and a small tear on the top right hand side.
