NOTES
In view of the historical fact that Germany is the worldwide first nation to publish the White Album, almost a month prior to the U.K., you're bidding on number # 50,539 out of ALL ever published that saw the light of day!
Worldwide first press up for auction here is a gatefold cover top opener, with its original black inner sleeves, which, in Germany, came without cut-out holes. All matricies end on -1/-1/-1/-1, and it certainly has all four glossy John Kelly color portraits as well as the While Hamilton collage poster with lyrics on back. Cover, inner sleeves, portraits, poster, and vinyl are in an excellent thru near mint condition. Same goes for the record's stunning sound! Many people we met at Beatles fares and exhibitions used to say "Nikolaus GmbH from Cologne? Best Beatles vinyl ever pressed!" As for (at least) the Fabs' "life time", a clear YES!
This copy is numbered with a "real" low # 50,539. And although the sequential numbering of the covers remains somewhat of a mystery, collectors should bear in mind that numbering in U.K. and Germany were completely independent on each other, regarding both its sequencing and numbers themselves, hence both countries started with "000001". German pressings came as stereo mixes only. Provided the fact that the worldwide first press, Germany's stereo version, was sold at least 500,000 copies within the first months...
... you have a guess regarding the "real" number of any White Album published outside Germany. That is why we consider one of our German copies -#000364 for instance- a real "under 1,000" album. A thing discussed time and again with other collectors - but that's the good thing with "collecting the Fabs", it's more or less a "science", right?
Please see grading details for a more elaborate description of the record's condition. back to TOP
1st Class Packaging
We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer.
(PLEASE NOTE that pictured record is an EXAMPLE only. It is NOT the item up for auction. Thank you.) Record Grading

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset. Remarks As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is in a perfectly readable shape.
Cover is completely glossy. The "White" shows some light shadows, edges scuffed. All in all, simply superb!
Vinyl is shiny. Few hairlines, nothing that affects the sound in any possible way.
Regarding audio: stunning sound, and of course both discs play perfectly thru with neither jumps nor skips nor disturbing noises nor "anyhting else".
We gave all four sides an in-depth audition right prior to listing. A perfect chance to catch possible audio flaws of a stereo White Album is its Side B, where many sensitive-parts-songs, Blackbird, Piggies, and Julia in particular, reveal the "real scope" of the actual sound quality. Conclusion: near mint.
Please keep in mind that an opinion is bound to be subjective. Refer to pictures, provided extensively.
