here's a real treat for all BEATLES fans:
a first pressing of the MONO self-titled 2lp (popularly known as "The Whgite Album" by the BEATLES as released on Apple PMC 7068 in 1968 in the UK. The openings are at the TOP of the cover and the black innersleeves are also included as well as the four color photos of the Beatles.
This MONO original pressing is really ESSENTIAL for all serious Beatles collectors as the mixes are significantly DIFFERENT from the better know stereo mixes. This mono edition sold badly (everybody wanted stereo back then!) and is now VERY hard to find!!
The matrix numbers are: XEX 709-1/XEX 710-1/XEX 711-1/XEX 712-1.
Grading:
- the records: excellent condition (two sides of the labels have a name in small letter on it; there are NO spindlemarks!)
- the cover: vg++ condition (slight discoloration); poster and pictures are in great condition!
In an attempt to show the best possible pictures of lp's I am putting up for auction I use a large format scanner. This enables me to provide potential buyers with a GREAT view of the item. Unfortunately the scanner can not contain all of the surface of the lp; a small part of about 1,25 cm/0.5 inch is missing!

Shipping Postage is extra and NOT included in the final price of the auction.
Albums may be shipped by priority or standard airmail.
Postage for 1-3 albums inside Europe will be EURO 6 for standard and EURO 9 for priority airmail; outside of Europe it'll be EURO 9 for standard and EURO 18 for priority airmail (for 1-3 albums). Please contact me in case you need registered mail or insurance.
I will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail if not sent by registerd or insured mail!

Due to the growing number of winners not following up on their winning bids I have adopted the following policy on payment:
1. After the auction has ended the winner will recieve a notice with instructions on payment etc.
2. I expect the winner to confirm reception of this email within 48 hours
3. After 2-3 days ONE notice will be sent if confirmation has not been recieved
4. Payment is expected within three weeks after the auction has ended. If you can't make that deadline LET ME KNOW!!
5. After four weeks item will be relisted AND negative feedback will be left!!
