Here's a RARE! original Australian MONO pressing of The Beatles White Album 2LP, issued in 1968
Sleeve is numbered A 39581
Only a few thousand Mono copies were pressed in Australia, making this a holy grail for Aussie Beatles collectors
Complete with ALL the original contents, has the Numbered TOP-OPENING Gatefold Sleeve, 2 heavyweight Apple label LP's,
4 Photos, the large fold-open Poster, & the 2 black inner sleeves
It's hard to find decent copies nowadays complete with the 4 photos, poster and the 2 black inner sleeves
The poster is the original "Censored" issue with 2 censored photos,
these being the photo of John talking on the phone (partly removed), and the photo of Paul naked behind a pole has been completely removed
All 4 labels have the Northern Songs / Apple publishing 1st issue credits
The 2 discs are heavyweight original 1960's pressings, with matt finish Apple labels
A 1st pressing, totally complete & the scarce Mono issue, don't miss!
Australian pressing from 1968 on the Apple label, catalogue no. PMCO-7067 & PMCO-7068
CONDITION
VINYL: VG- / VG-
Record 1 is VG-, Record 2 is also VG-, numerous hairlines / scuffs that do not affect play greatly,
all 4 sides play well with a bit of light background crackle
Both discs are pressed on thick heavyweight vinyl,
the labels are the 1st issue 'matt' textured labels with the ' Northern Songs / Apple' publishing credits
The beautiful thick & fully laminated Numbered Gatefold Sleeve is VG++ to Near EX on the outside with light handling only,
the inside Gatefold is EX & very clean, in really fine condition overall
4 PHOTOS: EX++ to Near MINT
The 4 Photos with their original glossy finish are all superb EX++ to Near MINT
"CENSORED" FOLD-OPEN POSTER: VG++
The "Censored" fold-open Poster is VG++ just light handling, in fine condition
Has lyrics to all 30 songs on the rear
Contains the original Northern Songs publishing credits on the bottom rear
2 BLACK INNER SLEEVES: VG+
The 2 Black Inner Sleeves are both VG+ handling / creases
