Description

THE BEATLES

VERY RARE

White Album D/LP

PARLOPHONE

‘ONE EMI BOX’

STEREO

1969 PRESSING

Cover: UK pressed 'EMI Records, (Gramophone Company Co Ltd) Hayes, Middx' manufactured unlaminated side-loader without 'The Beatles' embossed on the front cover and with no number. There is 'stereo' printed on the rear of the cover and The Beatles PCS (S) 7067/8 on the spine.  The cover is in reasonable VG+ shape - bit grubby with some ringwear on the front - see photos. No poster/photos.

Matrix Numbers - YEX 709-1, YEX, 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1.

Mother Stampers - Side 1 = 3, Side 2 = 11, Side 3 = 3 and Side 4 = 7 -  with no letters.

Labels. Two of the labels are Excellent+ and two have the initials of the previous owner etched on them and are therefore VG - see scans.

Vinyl. Not play tested. Visually the records look to be:- Side 1 = some non-feelable scratches - looks to be 'Good(+)' Side 2 = some non feelable scratches - looks 'Good' Side 3 = one long non-feelable but ugly stylus scratch running across the whole side - looks to be 'Fair' & Side 4 = some non-feelable scratches - looks to be Good(+). Overall I would describe as 'Good' only - see definitions below.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS RECORD IS A 'UK EXPORT' PRESSING, AN 'ISRAELI' PRESSING, A 'HONG KONG' PRESSING, AN 'IRISH' PRESSING AND MANY OTHER TYPES OF PRESSING. IN TRUTH, NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE A DEFINITIVE ANSWER.

Postage & Packaging:

£4 (UK) £7 (EUROPE) & £12 (REST OF THE WORLD)

Gradings.......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
