Description

This is a genuine first pressing of the Beatles withdrawn "loud cut" mono album PMC 1267 "Rubber Soul". The album was withdrawn and remixed following complaints that due to the "loudness" of the cutting, it caused the stylus to jump on cheaper record-players. The mixes are noticably different. Not one for your dansette then! The catalogue number is XEX.579/580, matrix number -1 (ONLY matrix -1 are "loud cut" versions). The disc is in outstanding condition, easily Near Mint. There are two minor scuffs on side one which don't sound. A proffessional clean would doubtless render this album true Mint. The sleeve is the Garrod & Lofthouse original. Sleeve is in Excellent condition with some very minor wear on the open edge. What takes the sleeve out of the Near mint category is that someone has written thir name on the back.. regrettable, but hardly a major flaw. This is a real collector's item and doesn't turn up in this sort of condition very often. So go for it! Seller has great feedback and many years experience in mail order.
