BEATLES UK – Rubber Soul, original Stereo LP.

PCS 3075 - original 1965 Stereo yellow & black Parlophone Labels.

A UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

1. side two of the record does not have a ‘Mother’ stamped onto it 1, and the ‘Stamper’ on side two is just the letter ‘ G ’ !,  the very earliest ‘stamper’ you can have, is this possibly a pre production record ?.

2. the labels are unusual as they are printed with the ‘Roman’ font letter style, but the record has the matrix of 3 / 3 !, these 3 / 3 matrix records normally have the ‘Sans Serif’ font labels !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve has remained an excellent fresh white in colour with virtually NO discolouring. There are NO tears, stains, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. An excellent clean, fresh sleeve with virtually NO discolouring. Theres NO pen writing, stains, tears, stickers or sticker residue. There is an edge split to one side and to the bottom of the sleeve.

THE VINYL: side one is in excellent+ condition, in fact under normal daylight conditions it is difficult to see any marks at all on the playing surface. Side two is in excellent condition with just a few light non audible marks to the playing surface. The vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained very dark and very glossy in appearance, clear it has received little play.

The matrix are :   YEX 178 - 3    and    YEX 179 – 3,

The Mother / Stampers are:  ‘ 2   M ’   and  ‘  none !     G ’, unusually theres NO  ‘mother’ stamped onto side two !, and just the letter  ‘G’  appears as the ‘stamper’ on side two !.

THE AUDIO: is excellent+, a near perfect audio, the best audio I have heard for a long time, there is little to spoil the listening pleasure. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays excellent with NO jumps or sticking from the needle. 

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, the letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
