Description

BEATLES UK – REVOLVER LP,  Mono.

1966 PMC 7009 – Black and Yellow Parlophone Labels.

An early  UK Mono copy  in 100% original condition, featuring:

1. very early labels as side two has the spelling of  ‘ Dr ’  Robert, this was soon changed to the ‘ Doctor ’ spelling,  apparently at  the insistence of John Lennon.   The spelling on the sleeve was never corrected !

2. the labels are the earlier ‘Sans Serif’ letter style (font) making them identical to the very first mono pressing of the this LP,  the Remix 11.  


CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent  condition, the front of the sleeve is  laminated.  The  rear has the tri-flipback design.  The spine is in excellent condition  and all the text is readable. There  are  NO splits, tears, pen writing,  stickers, sticker residue on  the sleeve.  

THE INNER SLEEVE:  is in near excellent condition  and is the original white  ‘ Patents Applied For’ sleeve.  For its age  a very clean sleeve.   There  are NO  tears,  stickers, sticker residue. One of the side edges is just starting to split.   There is   a previous owners name written in black pen on the rear.

THE VINYL: side one is in  near excellent condition, side two is in very good  condition.  It is made of the period thick, heavy vinyl.  Each side  is dark and glossy.

The matrix are:   XEX  605 - 2  and   XEX 606 – 2,

The Mother/Stampers are:   ‘  1     P  H ’    and    ‘  2   R P  ’,

THE AUDIO: side one plays  near excellent,  it starts play with some crackle but soon settles down.  Side Two again some crackle  and the odd   ‘tick’   in places, plays very good.  The record plays well without the needle sticking or jumping.  

THE LABELS:  side one is in  excellent+ condition,   side two is in very good+ condition.   Side two has the spelling of  ‘ Dr ’ Robert.     The letters ‘ K T ‘ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one.    There  is a name written in black pen on side two,  this is the same name that appears written on the inner sleeve.

Packing - all records are sent out with multi layered card stiffeners.    All records will be removed from their  original inner and outer sleeves  to avoid any damage, the record will then be put into a second inner sleeve for maximum protection while in transit.

Discounts will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK  –  records  that sell for over the value of £41 will  be sent  ‘recorded delivery’ and there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post etc, therefore the post and packing charges may vary.
