ALBUM PLAYED FOR GRADING:

Yes – brilliant! - NEAR MINT sound quality throughout

TOP AUDIO - This great record plays up to the high visual grading and beyond . Strong, undistorted sound free of any pops, clicks or distortion. Channels are clean and unstressed. The music jumps out, with definition and clarity, particularly on the percussion instruments, and vocals which come through with tremendous power. As is the same with the bass guitar and drums, whilst the guitars come through crisp and clear. 

NO repeat clicks, no clicks or pops or continuous unwanted sounds. This great record plays up to the visual and audio grading and beyond, with NEAR MINT sound. 

The White Album is a complex and varied collection of music, and hard to find in clear audio condition. Worn copies can have a lot of surface sound even on musically complex and busy tracks like ' Revolution 9.' This copy has strong undistorted audio, with Super clear sound and absolutely minimal background static. There is certainly no dominant  interference, and NO pops or clicks or Distortion. It really sounds great and plays with great sound separation and clarity!

Superb sound, every track has been tested and I could find no obvious sound blemishes. Some light occasional static only, and it is light and very occasional. Wonderful TOP audio, there is NO distortion, NO sticks or jumps what so ever, and virtual silence between the tracks.

Even 'Jilia ' sings out with silence in the run ins and quiet areas. Great music with great clarity, and so hard to find with this type of sound. The tonal quality make this a sensational pressing. With the clear and extra loud First cut engineering giving the audio a vibrant sound which cannot be beaten.

THE RECORD - Visual Grading - NEAR MINT

A stunning set of glossy vinyls in great condition. Largley unmarked with only the lightest handling marks. There are some ultra whispy handling marks and perhaps one ultra light hairline, barely visible under a spot light it could even be a sleeve removal line, and is certainly totally In audible. Beautiful vinyl throughout!

A great all round Complete and Rare example of this BEATLES MASTERPIECE

Super Clear Stereo mix, which packs amazing drive and punch.

The Beatles, later known as the White Album, had over a quarter of a million advance orders, and of course went straight to number 1. This was the first double album EVER to get to the top slot where it stayed for 7 weeks in a row. It sold so many, that once again The Beatles also made the singles chart, consequently the ONLY double album to ever enter that chart. By the end of the year, just over a month later, the white album had sold over 4,000,000 copies worldwide, and by the end of 1970 global sales were around 6.5 million. At that time this was the biggest selling double album of all time.

The sleeve design was by Richard Hamilton, who suggested the minimalistic approach and the consecutively numbered sleeves which would give a limited edition feel to it. Richard also came up with the montage idea for the large free poster, which included the lyrics on it's rear. The four free colour prints were taken by John Kelly.

THE COVER – NEAR MINT

Comes with the original Side Loading NUMBERED Gatefold Sleeve by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE. 

Superb example, a UK ORIGINAL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE gatefold cover. 

A numbered pressing, it is made in the medium thick card and is fully laminated with the title THE BEATLES is embossed under the laminate. Number - 0455379.

This really is  a stunning cover, with little to fault it, other than some very light handling marks and corner wear. 

The cover has maintained its creamish white sheen.  There is no feathering to the Top openings, which is unusual.

THE LABELS - EXCELLENT PLUS

Famous Apple labels are in GREAT Condition, no marks or writing, no discernible  spindle wear.  Great all round examples, with some light spindle traces only!

THE INNERS

Large original Lip Stick PHOTO-MONTAGE and LYRIC SHEET, 57 x 87 cms in EXCELLENT PLUS condition. NO tears or splits, just some light wear on the edges and some discolouration on the lyric side. - No tears, no writing, no pin-holes, no glue or sellotape marks.

Comes with all Four Photos which are in  EXCELLENT PLUS Condition. all Four Prints, 20 x 29 cms, on the original Thick Card. - No tears, no writing, no pin-holes, no glue or sellotape marks. 

Also comes with the ULTRA RARE PHOTO SPACER. IN EXCELLENT PLUS condition, very light creasing only.

VINYL SOUND - PLEASE NOTE:

Top quality vinyl with clear sound is rare, and is what I always aim for. Even with the cleanest copies you will find occasional static sound during playback, caused by a build of dust in the grooves. This is clearly different from the distortion, loud pops or clicks that are found on heavily played and worn pieces of vinyl. Any static build up will reduce when played, and I advise a light clean should be given between plays for optimal performance.

MY RECORD GRADING SYSTEM IS AS FOLLOWS - (BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE U.K. )

MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.

FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
