This is one of a number of vinyl albums and EPs -- some new and still-sealed, some rare -- that I am listing for auction. 

This item is an original mono vinyl LP pressing of the classic Beatles album entitled Rubber Soul, originally released on Capitol Records in 1965.  This pressing is on the classic Capitol colorband swirl label, and bears cat #T 2442.  As a Beatles fan for as long as I can remember – and I can remember seeing Help! at a drive-in movie theatre during its original release in 1965 – I have amassed a huge Beatles collection.  As a teenager, though, I had access to a great record store that also stocked import LPs.  So, I became a Beatles snob, preferring and collecting the British releases (which, at least over the releases until Sgt Pepper’s, differed dramatically from the US releases). In fact, I still think of the albums in their UK configurations, not in their US track-lists.  The vinyl on this pressing is very, very nice – SOLID near-mint.  The cover is still in its original plastic with price sticker, and shows only the very, very mildest sign of wear at the bottom front showing in John’s jacket – otherwise, it too is in excellent condition.  You will not find a nicer pressing of this album in mono unless it is sealed and perfect.

The vinyl is in solid near-mint condition.  The cover is in excellent condition, as described above and as shown in the photo.

NOTE:  Due to the present rules under Paypal, I can now ship internationally ONLY VIA PRIORITY MAIL.  If you are outside the US, Priority International is the standard shipping, due to the fact that under Paypal rules, delivery tracking must be included on EVERY package outside the US.  The cost depends upon the weight and the country of destination.  I will provide the cost for each option in my post-auction invoice (and, again, I can provide the info during the auction, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).  To Canada, it will be $21.50USD for one LP.  To most other countries, it will be about $29.50USD for one LP.  I recognize that this will result in much higher shipping costs and I apologize for this change, but it is necessary under the Paypal rules now in effect. If you have any questions about this policy, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.  If you do not accept this shipping requirement, please do not bid.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty years (education expenses – and soon-to-be college expenses -- are the reason I am selling my collection...). 

The shipping costs are as follows: $4.00 for one LP via media mail to anywhere in the U.S.   Each additional LP is an additional $0.40 for media mail shipping.  Priority shipping within the U.S. is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information. 

NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS without delivery confirmation.  If you would like tracking ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75. 

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

I will always combine items, so that your shipping costs will be more manageable.  Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
