Description
This is an early pressing (Matrix YEX 579-4) of the BEATLES album 'RUBBER SOUL' on the Black/Yellow PARLOPHONE label, cat# PMC 1267 (MONO). The front-laminated G&L triple flipback cover is Exc with a little wear to corners. The back cover is beginning to show some 'browning' due to age but is otherwise unblemished. Please study the photos.
The labels are clean and sharp with minimal spindle-marking.
I hesitate to use the word 'mint' when describing ANY used vinyl, so let's just say the disc is VERY Near Mint with plenty of sheen, no scratches and plays noiselessly. Under a very strong light there does appear to be what might be very light 'scuff' marks or fingerprints, but these do not sound. In fact it sounds superb.
This album, rightly hailed as a classic, was the first in the progressive trilogy of albums that culminated in 'SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
