BEATLES "REVOLVER" UK 1st ISSUE MONO This album from 1966 is a 1st issue and features the longer version of "Tomorrow Never Knows" which came to be known as remix 11 it was withdrawn soon after distribution and re-issued with a shorter version of this song which came to be known as remix 8.The 1st issue Matrix numbrs are xex 606-1 / xex 605-2 and the longer remix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" can only be found on the 1st issues making this album a very rare collectors item .Ringo now and again would suggest lines or titles and it was his suggestion that gave the title to this song . Another song on this album Dr Robert had changed to Doctor Robert on the re-issued albums .The record has the yellow and black parlophone on the labels , PMC 7009, KT Stamper code, Gramaphone text around the edges and subject to sale etc in the middle .The matrix numbers on the vinyl are xex 606-1 / xex 605-2 . The vinyl and labels are in excellent condition .The Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve has no writing on , no splits , no rips or tears ,on the laminate near the spine there three small cracks, there is some minor creasing near to the top and side opening ,at the side opening there is some small fraying where the record has been removed and replaced .The rear of the sleeve is unmarked and in excellent condition .This album is the ultimate addition to a beatles collection being the very rare 1st issue in mono from 1966 .
