BEATLES REVOLVER PARLOPHONE PMC7009 MONO MTX XEX606-1!!
THE BEATLES REVOLVER PARLOPHONE PMC7009 MONO BLACK/YELLOW XEX606-1 MATRIX
Extremely rare and highly sought after Beatles absolute first day pressing of Revolver on Parlophone. This version was only pressed for part of the first day before George Martin stopped the presses to replace the song "Tomorrow Never Knows" with a more suitable mix (known as remix 11). This rare mono copy also lists the song as Dr. Robert instead of Doctor Robert on jacket and album. The vinyl is VG++ with only a couple of small hairlines. The labels are very nice other than a mark by the center hole on side 2 and numerous light marks around both center holes from maybe the record spindle (click on oversize image to see). The labels are jet black and not faded as in picture. The cover is VG showing overall wear with marks along spine, some yellowing, soft corners, etc. (see pictures). This first day only press is a must have for the serious Beatle collector. Upgrade the jacket with this outstanding vinyl and you have something really exceptional. Good luck bidding!! NO RESERVE!!!
Matrix---XEX605-2 side one. Matrix--XEX606-1 side two.
Black and Yellow label with 'Sold in UK' on label. Bid early and often and don't miss out on this rarity.
