Description
THE BEATLES TWIST AND SHOUT Original 1964 First Pressing Capitol Canada LP! Still with original baggy-style wrap and Capitol inner sleeve! I have collected Beatles records and memorabilia for 55 years, and have sold on Ebay for over 10 years (100% rating).
From my personal collection, this is the ORIGINAL PRESSING of Capitol Canada's TWIST AND SHOUT LP (T6054) by The Beatles, issued in February, 1964 in brilliant, punchy mono! They don't come much better than this! Purchased from the original owner, the LP is still housed in its original baggy-style wrap and comes with the original Capitol inner sleeve. The record itself has been lovingly kept with minimal evidence of use. It consists of songs mostly drawn from the UK Parlophone Please Please Me LP, along with "From Me To You" and the number one song at the time, "She Loves You"!
BAGGY-STYLE WRAP EX Correct for the time, the LP comes housed in a baggy-style wrap with no seam splits. Original store price tag (Eaton's 2.96)!
COVER VG+ - Bright, bold pink on front and contrasting whites and blacks. "Litho in Canada" is printed along the opening, indicating a first cover. Back cover is very white with no ringwear evident. Along the mouth there is evidence of some use with several folds. The spine is clear and the text is centred. No seam splits. This is one of The Beatles' best covers outside of the UK!
INNER SLEEVE: VG+ - Original Pathe/Capitol sleeve! Some folding but no seam splits.
VINYL: VG+ Labels are clean and show minimal use. Rainbow labels with "MFD IN CANADA BY CAPITOL RECORDS OF CANADA LTD" along the rim. There is no "(Canada)" which indicates an original pressing. Vinyl plays well with deep grooves and gloss. There are some unfeelable lines and fingerprints (which should be easy to remove with cleaning). The deep, punchy mono sound is a thing to behold.
100% GUARANTEED ORIGINAL CANADA MONO LP! 1964 ORIGINAL PRESSING CLEAR, LEGIBLE SPINE BEAUTIFUL COLORS
