BEATLES "JUKE BOX JURY" TICKET
On December 7th 1963, the Beatles appeared at the Empire Theatre in their hometown of Liverpool to record a speial edition of "Juke Box Jury" for BBC-TV. Following the recording the Beatles then performed a 30 minute concert for the invited audience.
Juke Box Jury was a weekly program featuring a panel of four celebrities who were given the task of rating newly released records as 'HIT' or 'MISS,' based on their personal opinions of the recording's potential to become a popular chart hit.
When the Beatles appeared as the four panelists for this edition of Juke Box Jury, they rated the latest releases by artists like Elvis Presley, Steve and Eydie, Bobby Vinton, Billy Fury, and the Swinging Blue Jeans. Most of the predictions the Beatles made on this episode of Juke Box Jury proved later to be correct, and only three of their predictions turned out to be incorrect.
The audience for this speial one-off appearance where all specially invited members of the Northern Area Beatles Fanclub, tickets for this performance where never made available to the general public.
Offered for sale in excellent condition is an original and genuine ticket from this very special appearance.
This very rare Pink ticket is completely intact with a few light creases and some mild edge wear and light handling marks, the ticket is however still very clean and all text is perfect and unspolit. The ticket is free from any nicks or tears.
Overall this is a unique opportunity to aquire a very very rare fanclub only issue ticket. Very few of these tickets have survived and therefore they very seldom surface for sale.
