Description
You are bidding on an early Beatles 45 featuring Please Please Me b/w From Me To You on Vee-Jay (581 silver bar label version).
This 45 has a unique mis-press error, that could make it a very scarce Beatles anomaly: When pressed, this particular 45 had the labels switched, so when the Please Please Me label is visible, From Me To You is playing (and vice versa). The numbers in the run out vinyl confirm the error as they correspond to the label on the opposite side.
While record factory pressing errors are, of course, not unknown, there’s no way to tell how many of these particular 45s ended up like this. For all I know this could be the only one! Certainly extremely rare!
The vinyl itself is in great shape, a conservative VG+ with a couple of small marks, the labels are unmarked and the music plays at high volume (the streak on the bottom left of the photo is light reflecting off the record gloss) .
