You’re looking at a nice copy of this EXTREMELY RARE VERSION of the Beatles’ “A HARD DAY’S NIGHT” Soundtrack album. Not only is it a rare RECORD CLUB PRESSING, but it’s the even rarer MONO VERSION.  I've only seen a few of these Record Club Pressings on Ebay in the last few years, and they may have been the more common Stereo versions. I'm not sure. But these Mono pressings are almost impossible to find for sale, even on Google. They don’t even have one listed on the FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES site.  (If you’re into Beatles’ Memorabilia, or are just a big Beatles fan, and you haven’t been to the FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES website, you definitely need to go there. It’s amazing.) This MONO RECORD CLUB PRESSING has a NEAR MINT VALUE of $2000.00!  Here are the particulars:

NOTE: Record grading is very subjective, so be sure to inspect all the images carefully and decide for yourself.  Also be aware that some imperfections that are visible in the images may not be listed in the descriptions. If you have any questions, please contact me before you bid.

ALBUM CONDITIONS

RECORD ALBUM:  (VG) This is a good looking, nice sounding piece of vinyl that I wanted to give a VERY GOOD PLUS rating but decided to play it safe and give it a VERY GOOD instead. (I tend to grade down when I’m not absolutely sure of what grade to give.)

Record: Play tested.  No skips.  Both sides still retain a good bit of their original luster, but do have multiple surface rubs and some very light scratches that cannot be felt.  I just finished playing this album, and even on my cheap record player, it still sounds great.  Side One has only the occasional very light pop that appears mostly between songs.  Side Two has a bit more light pops with some of them occurring during a couple of songs.  The audio flaws on both sides are minuscule and would probably not be noticed when playing on a good system at normal volume levels.

Labels: Both labels look fantastic with just some tiny spindle marks on Side 2. (SEE IMAGES.)

Sleeve: Comes in a new generic sleeve.

ALBUM COVER:  (VG-) A pretty decent example of one of the rarest of all Beatle album covers.

Front: The front cover slick does have some ring-wear, but still looks pretty good.  There are some indentations to the left of George’s face and some fraying along the open edge.  All four corners have been dinged.  (SEE IMAGES.)

Back: The rear cover shows some yellowing around the edges and some ring-wear.  All of the text and images are complete and clear. There are a few small dark marks on and around the photos and a small crease at the bottom left corner.  (SEE IMAGES.)

Seams: The top and bottom seams both had 5” splits that I carefully fixed with glue to prevent them from splitting anymore.  Both seams also have some chipping and fraying.

Spine: The spine has yellowed with age but is still mostly intact.  Both corners have some crinkling and chipping issues.  (SEE IMAGES.)
