After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare, original 1963 stereo 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'With the Beatles'. This is the rare early pressing that mistakenly credits Money to 'Jobete'!
This pressing comes with it's original Parlophone insert that advertises 'Outstanding Records for your collection' and lists, half way down the front, 'Please Please Me'. These Parlophone inserts were made from extremely thin, flimsy paper and the vast majority were creases, ripped, folded etc. This insert, however, is looking extremely good for its age!
Not only that, but it's accompanying an extremely rare and highly collectible STEREO 1st pressing! Back in 1963 the stereo format was still in its infancy. Stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts. because of this, and because stereophonic record players cost a small fortune back then, everybody bought the mono presses. The original stereo presses of the early Beatle albums sold in absolutely tiny amounts and, today, are extremely hard to find!

The cover is showing your usual wear and tear (remember, this record is over 50 years old!) but, overall, is holding up okay. The front cover has a little dirt buildup on the laminate and has some light disc impression. The top bar has yellowed a little and there's a strip down the mouth edge where the laminate has shrunk back and the revealed card has browned. There's some little laminate creases around the edges. The top and bottom seams are both holding tightly without any wear or splitting. The spine is looking good with no splits or wear and is fully legible. The back has yellowed and browned everso slightly around the edges and mouthedge. There's an area just above the left column of text that has been rubbed, or maybe a small piece of tape has peen peeled away and left a little scar. The overflaps are stuck tightly and only have one or two little laminate creases. Overall, it's showing its age a little but is still holding up tightly with no real, significant damage. The original plastic-lined Emitex inner is included. It's yellowed and has some light creasing and disc impression. There are no splits but the bag is just starting to come away from the mouth edge. The Insert: EX

The original Parlophone advertising insert is looking great with no wear, tears, folds, writing, stains or anything. It's yellowed slightly and has some very light creases in a few places, but overall is looking great! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G+

The playing surface has a nice shine to it. Side 2 has some light scuffing in places but nothing too serious. Side 1 has a little more scuffing and some slightly heavier marks. There's a light but rather prominent mark on side 1 (you can see it in the photo above at the 7 o'clock position) that looks quite bad, but I can't feel it under my fingernail. If this mark wasn't there then the grade would be an easy VG.

The labels are clean with bright text. There's a fair amount of light spindlewear and some whitening around the centrehole, but nothing serious. Nice labels!.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
