BEATLES RADIO SHOW - SCOTT MUNI’S “TICKET TO RIDE”
SHOW #TTR- 168 ORIGINAL AIR DATE: 4/15/88
SUBJECT OR GUEST: STEVE TYLER & JOE PERRY OF AEROSMITH
An original copy of this weekly tribute to the Beatles….a one hour (including commercials) syndicated radio show hosted by legendary New York disc-jockey (and long-time friend of the Beatles) Scott Muni.
It ran from Feb. 1985 to Apr. 1989. Each week, Scott featured a specific theme or guest who talked about the Beatles’ influence on their life and their music. Regular weekly segments included “This Week In Beatles’ History”, a cover version of a Beatles song and a “Beatles Question Of The Week” (answered later in the hour).
The show consists of two 12” vinyl discs. (Audio only on 3 sides…Side 4 is blank).
**THE CUE SHEET IS INCLUDED WITH THIS SHOW (SEE PHOTO)
“Scott Muni’s Ticket To Ride” was produced by DIR Radio Network….the same network responsible for “Rick Dees’ Weekly Top 40”, “Live From The Improv”, “Gary Owens Music Weekend” and “King Biscuit Flower Hour”.
The discs are in near mint condition…probably having been played only once (for broadcast purposes) and then stored.
