1. Yes, this copy has the machine stamped asterisk
2. Yes I did play it and 'Penny Lane' is the PROMO ONLY version with the additional trumpet at the end.
3. More photos have been added to show both labels.
4. The matrix number on the Penny Lane side reads exactly 45-45871-F-1:
