The Beatles Sweden Penny Lane EP - True Near Mint Sleeve - EX-/VG++ Vinyl.
You simply will never find another laminated cardboard sleeve of this EP in better condition! EXTRAORDINARY, IMMACULATE - I have no other words to describe the pristine condition of the sleeve - especially for a laminated sleeve that was pressed 58 years ago.
The only defect manmade or just from the original packaging of this awesome sleeve is a slight record impression on the bottom right side / corner of the EP. The lamination has a few ultra tiny bubbles that can only be seen in certain lighting. They are not rips/bends/ etc. Just an issue with the printing process.
As one can plainly see the manufacturers cutting of the sleeve has left a few "outer chips of paper" This is not considered a defect in my opinion.
Stunning condition throughout. Exquisite color, sharp corners, almost perfect edges, beautiful gloss from the fantastically preserved lamination.
The vinyl is awesome (it's a shame that the center piece was pushed out. I have considered trying to find a copy of just the vinyl with an intact center that is NTMT/EX but they are difficult to acquire without sleeve in any condition.
There are fine hairline scratches here & there, but the sound of the songs are utterly fantastic - zero skips, very minimal hiss, great strong quality sound!
The labels are gorgeous (although the center has been pushed out as mentioned.
*****The sleeve is museum quality**** One could hunt for years and years and never find another copy in such gorgeous condition!
It will be shipped very protected.
I always line the tops and bottoms of the record shipping boxes with a thick cardboard pad and also a square piece of bubble wrap. There will also be a sheet of bubble wrap between each top loader.
